Data Format

Artwork is generated on a Gerber Cresent 30 Laser photoplotter. The preferred data format is Gerber RS-274-X, but any Gerber format will do. Drill files are to be in Excellon format using leading zeros. E.C.S. requests that a ASCII read.me file be included with your data and that it includes the following:

• Company name, part number, board size, how many pieces on initial order
• If you are sending Gerber files please include the aperture list or aperture file name if not Gerber RS-274-X
• Who would be contacted if a problem should arise?

E.C.S. recommends compressing files using Pkzip.
